About the author
Jim Hoerricks, 32° K.C.C.H., is a Scottish Rite Mason from the Valley of Pasadena, Ca. Jim's duties there include directing the classroom instruction, keeping the web site up to date, and editing/publishing the monthly bulletin. Prior to his receiving the investiture of KCCH, he served in the Valley's Knights of St. Andrew service organisation.
Elsewhere in Masonry ... Jim was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason in North Hollywood Lodge #542 but now finds Reseda Lodge #666 to be his home. He has also been a member of Beverly Hills Lodge #528, where he served as Treasurer in 2006.
In the York Rite, Jim is a member of Signet Chapter #57 RAM, Omega Council #11 CM, and Los Angeles Commandery #9 KT, all of which meet in Van Nuys, Ca. He is also a member of the Melrose St. John Council #52 Allied Masonic Degrees and the California College, MSRICF.
Jim is a member of Al Malaikah Shrine in Los Angeles, Ca.
Finally, Jim is a member of the Scottish Rite Research Society, the WSB Club, and the Southern California Research Lodge.
